Free Trial & How Billing Works
The 7-day trial
When you complete your assessment and check out, you pay a small one-time trial fee (about $0.99 USD, shown in your local currency at checkout). This starts a 7-day trial with full access to your results and the platform.
What happens after 7 days
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial automatically converts to a monthly subscription (about $39.99 USD per month — the exact amount in your local currency is shown at checkout before you pay). This is disclosed on the checkout page before purchase: "After your trial ends, $39.99 will be debited every month. Cancel anytime."
Key timing details:
- - The trial starts when you sign up and pay the trial fee — not when you view your results.
- - The conversion charge occurs when the 7-day trial period elapses.
- - After conversion, billing renews on a monthly cycle from your signup date.
- - You can cancel at any time — see How to Cancel Your MindCrate Subscription. Cancelling during the trial means no monthly charge at all.
What the subscription includes
An active subscription gives you ongoing access to the platform: your detailed results and analysis, test history, certificates, and the ability to take further assessments. Your results were delivered when you completed your assessment, and they remain permanently accessible in your account — even on the free tier after you cancel.
Where billing and cancellation live
Everything to do with your subscription — payment method, plan, cancellation — is managed in one place: mindcrate.com → Account Settings → Billing (direct: mindcrate.com/billing). Billing cannot be managed through the ad you signed up from, TikTok, your phone's subscription settings, or by email reply.
Annual plan (retention offer)
If you start to cancel, you may be shown an optional discounted annual plan ($47.88 per year — equivalent to $3.99/month). If you accept it, you are billed once per year at that price instead of monthly. It replaces your monthly plan; it is not charged on top of it. If the offer fails to apply or you're unsure which plan you're on, contact us in this chat and we'll check.
Questions about the amount charged?
If the number on your statement doesn't look like $0.99 or $39.99, it's almost always local-currency pricing or your card issuer's currency handling — see Understanding the Charge on Your Statement.
