Refund Policy

We want to be completely upfront about how refunds work at MindCrate.

The short version

Your assessment results are delivered in full, immediately, when you complete your test — that is the core of what you purchase. Because the service is delivered at that point, we do not refund charges after a trial converts to a paid subscription, including when:

- You didn't realize the trial would convert to a subscription
- You forgot to cancel before the trial ended
- You changed your mind or no longer use the service
- You're unhappy with your score

The trial terms — including the exact monthly price and the auto-renewal — are disclosed on the checkout page before payment, and cancellation is available to you at any time during the trial at mindcrate.com/billing. This policy applies to all customers equally.

What we will always do: help you cancel immediately so no further charges occur, and make sure your cancellation actually took effect.

The four exceptions

We do review and refund charges in these specific situations:

1. Genuinely unauthorized charges — your payment details were used without your permission (for example, a stolen card, or a minor using your card without consent).
2. A technical failure on our side — for example, our system verifiably prevented you from cancelling during your trial window.
3. Duplicate charges — you were billed more than once for the same billing period.
4. Service not delivered — you paid but never received access to your results.

If you believe your situation matches one of these, tell us in this chat. Include the charge date, amount, currency, and the email on your PayPal or card receipt. These cases are reviewed individually by our team — the review is real, and we'll come back to you with an answer.

About chargebacks

You always have the right to raise a dispute with your bank. Please know that when a dispute is filed for a delivered service, we respond to the bank with our records of the purchase and delivery. In most cases it's faster to talk to us first — especially if your situation falls under one of the four exceptions above, where we can resolve it directly.
