Payment Methods & Failed Payments

What we accept

  • - Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • - Wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay

We do not accept bank transfers, invoices, checks, or payments over chat or phone. For your security, never share a card number in a chat message — payments are only entered on the secure checkout and Billing pages.

If your card is declined at signup

  • - Confirm the card details and billing address/postcode match your bank's records.
  • - Complete any verification step (3-D Secure) your bank pops up.
  • - Try another accepted payment method (a different card, or PayPal/Apple Pay/Google Pay).
  • - Some card types and currencies aren't supported by our payment processor in every region — if one method keeps failing, a wallet option usually works.

Failed renewal payments and retries

If a subscription renewal fails, our system automatically retries over the following days. Two things to know:

  • - Retries can appear as multiple pending entries in your banking app; pending authorizations drop off once a payment settles or the attempts stop.
  • - A failed payment can temporarily suspend your account, which may display as having no active plan — see Charged, but "No Account Found" or "Free Member"?.

Blocking the charge at your bank does not cancel the subscription — retries and account suspension will continue until the subscription itself is cancelled at mindcrate.com/billing.

PayPal specifics

  • - Cancelling the agreement inside PayPal stops PayPal from paying us, but the MindCrate subscription still exists — also cancel at mindcrate.com/billing to fully close it out.
  • - If the agreement was cancelled and you want to keep subscribing, we can't restart it from our side — you'll need to re-select PayPal as your payment method from the Billing page, which creates a fresh agreement.
  • - If a "set as default" option doesn't appear when adding PayPal, refresh the Billing page and try again; if it still won't appear, tell us in this chat.
  • Removing a stored payment method

    If you've cancelled and want your payment details removed as well, ask us in this chat and we'll arrange it.
