Account Deletion & Privacy Requests

Cancelling vs. deleting — they're different

  • - Cancelling your subscription stops billing. Your account remains on the free tier and your test results stay accessible. Do this at mindcrate.com/billing.
  • - Deleting your account and personal data removes your information from MindCrate. This is a separate request, handled personally by our team — there is no self-service delete button.

How to request data deletion

Send your request either in this chat or by email to hello@mindcrate.com, stating:

  1. 1. That you want your account and personal data deleted (not just the subscription cancelled)
  2. 2. The email address on your account (the one on your payment receipt)

Two things to know before you ask:

  • - If you still have an active subscription, cancel it first (or ask us to help you cancel) so no further billing occurs while the deletion is processed.
  • - Deletion is permanent — your results and certificates cannot be recovered afterward. Download anything you want to keep first.

Our team will confirm your request, verify you're the account holder, and follow up at your email address when it's processed. If you don't hear back, reply on the same thread — it keeps your request flagged.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails

You can stop marketing emails without deleting anything — use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any MindCrate email. If you're receiving emails but have no account (or the unsubscribe link isn't working), tell us in this chat or email hello@mindcrate.com with the address receiving the mail, and we'll remove it.
